Version Comparison / Function Overview
Media Management
In order to meet the requirements and needs of our clients, we rearranged
our portfolio of media management software and created different editions. The editions differ significantly in functionality and price.
Home Edition
This edition is best suited to the needs of the starter or hobbyist. Beside the standard functionality to maintain a media collection it includes a lend management and the ability to complement data from the web.
Premium Edition
The Premium Edition is a very extensive and powerful tool for your media management. The functionality
to quickly enter media, the media search and the consistently implemented support for Scanner makes this
edition the preferred solutions for the ambitious collector or smaller library.
Premium Edition MB
The Premium Edition MB based on the "simple" Premium Edition and supports additionally the creation of
media collection databases on network shares and contains a user management functionality - means - this
edition can be used as a multi-user system.
Enterprise Edition
The Enterprise Edition is a multi-user system for libraries, schools, companies with their own library, etc. with a large
volume of media. It will also suit collectors who want to enjoy the benefits of a professional database. This edition can use either
a Microsoft SQL Server or a MySQL server database and allows therefore the maintenance of a virtually unlimited volume of media.
Highlights of the editions include extensive and dynamic grouping functions, very powerful search functions,
a new intuitive user interface, statistical charts and diagrams, reports and report generation (Premium or Enterprise Edition)
We created a comparison table with some core functionality for the different editions to allow a direct comparison:
